Account Information: When you sign in via Google, we collect your name, email address, and authentication ID token to manage your account profile and saved bookmarks.
Location Data: With your explicit consent, we access your device's precise or approximate location coordinates solely to calculate driving distances to local Satara tourist spots (e.g. Kaas Pathar, Thoseghar) and show nearby places in your current Taluka. Location data is processed locally and is never sold or tracked in the background.
User Submissions: Information provided when submitting business directory listings, contact phone numbers, or local Satara events.
Device Information: Technical log data such as device model, OS version, and app performance logs for debugging.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following specific purposes:
To display personalized tourism places, events, and business directory listings.
To enable smart trip planning and custom route weaving across Satara.
To process event ticket registrations and generate digital e-passes.
To allow local business owners to list and manage their business directory entries.
To maintain app security, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
3. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or monetize your personal information. We only share data with trusted third-party service providers necessary to operate the application:
Google Firebase Services: Authentication, Firestore Database, and Web Hosting (secured under Google Cloud Security Standards).
Google Maps Platform: Directions and location services.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy. 5. Children's Privacy
Aatach Satara does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will promptly delete that information.
